A.W. 2024 collection “LILT”
昨シーズンの “ジョージア・オキーフ・シングルホワイトリリー “コレクション以来,
私たちはより牧歌的な美学に戻りたいと感じてきた。
この方向転換の最初のきっかけは,30年分のアーカイブをリサーチし
ブランドのDNAを見直すことだった。
私たちは常に、歴史的な衣服や具象的な絵画や映画を愛していた。
当初,私たちの目的は,過去を現代の生活に取り入れること。
しかし,牧歌的な美的感覚を求める多くの人々のライフスタイルの変化とともに,
世界は追いつき,周囲の環境とより個人的な関係を求める世界的なムーブメントを引き起こしてきた。
今日では,アンティークは修復されたりキュレーションされたりして,
現代の生活に合うように並べられる。同じことが服でも楽しめる。
LILTというタイトルは,伝統的な民族舞踊のステップを楽しみたいという思いから生まれた。
ネイビー,ホワイト,アイボリー,パテベージュ,レッドは,民族舞踊の踊り手が着ていた衣装をイメージ。
“YAB-YUM Tattoo print “もまた,20世紀初頭の船乗りたちのタトゥーにちなんだものだ。
このプリントは白地にタトゥーの青でデザインされ,控えめな色彩にコントラストを加えている。
エッジの効いたストリートの雰囲気を演出する,ハイテクでメタリックなグログラン・テキスタイルは,
スポーティな要素でヤブヤムに新鮮さを加える。

“LILT” collection for autumn & winter 2024 .
Since last season with our “Georgia O’Keefe Single White Lilly” collection
we have felt the urge to return to a more bucolic esthetic .
Our initial stimulus for this turnaround came through researching
our 30 yrs of archives and reassessing our brand’s DNA .
We were always in love with historical clothing and figurative paintings or film .
Initially our purpose had been to bring the past into contemporary life .
The World has caught up and with the shift in lifestyles of many people
whose desire for a pastoral esthetic has brought
about a global movement for a more personal relationship to their surroundings .
Nowadays , antiques are restored or curated and juxtaposed to fit into contemporary life .
The same thing can be enjoyed with clothing .
The title “LILT” came out of a desire to enjoy traditional folk dance steps .
The colours Navy , White , ivory , putty beige and red are indicative of
the costumes worn by folk dancers .
The “YAB-YUM Tattoo print” is also a nod to the tattoos of early 20th sailors .
This print is designed in “tattoo blue on white” to add contrast to the more subdued colors .
We have included a sporty element with a high tech almost metallic grosgrain textile
which gives an edgy street vibe for a dash of excitement .
