秋冬コレクションをデザインしていたとき、私たちはジェーン・バーキンの気取らない女性らしい個性的なスタイルを思い浮かべていた。

シンプルでシックでありながらエレガントなアイテムのラインナップには、ヌーベルバーグの雰囲気が漂う。

ベル・エポックの華やかさを漂わせるコートや、動きと時代を超越したものがファッションデザインの最先端だった1920年代のラルティーグの写真に見られるような、

建築的に作られたプリーツ入りのスキースカート。

1970年代のロンドンファッションの人々は退廃的な服装を好み、そこでは女性は自由で、ファッションは選択の自由を通して夢を表現する方法であり、

どういうわけか、伝統的な服装やその時代のエチケットの制約から逃れることがより重要な意味を持っていた。
この変化はフロイトとユングに関するもの。

最も裕福な女性でさえ、トランクやロフトで見つかるかもしれない過去の要素を取り入れた服装をしていた。

そこには、私たちの祖父母が使っていたパラソルや、女性を魅力的で洗練されていて教養のあるように装うためにデザインされたエドワード朝時代のドレスがあったのだ。

BOOKISH GIRLS . Chic and Simple .

We were thinking about Jane Birkin in her louche and feminine individual style when we were designing our Fall and Winter collection . There’s something nouvelle vague in our line up of simple , chic yet elegant pieces .

A coat that has the panache of La Belle Epoche or an architecturally constructed pleated ski skirt that one might find in a L’Artigue photograph from the 1920s when motion and timeless were at the vanguard of Fashion design .

In 1970s London Fashion people preferred to dress in a decadent way where women were free and Fashion was a way to express their dreams through Freedom of Choice and somehow the equation was more about escaping the constraints of traditional dress and etiquette of the times .

Conversions were about Freud and Jung .

Even the wealthiest women dressed in a manner of elements from the past that may have been found in trunks and lofts where one might find our grandparents Parasol or an Edwardian dress designed for dressing women as desirable , sophisticated and well read .
